Summer Sails on Schooner Aurora

Nothing says Newport summer like a sunset sail. Escape the hustle and bustle of downtown and climb aboard our tall ship, the Schooner Aurora, where you’ll witness breathtaking views of Newport and Jamestown as you sail around Narragansett Bay on the 101’ classic schooner.

Lobster Boil & Sunset Sail

The best way to see the City by the Sea this summer and fall, our Lobster Boil & Sunset Sail provides the quintessential Newport evening. Enjoy a dockside lobster dinner before boarding the Aurora; then sit back and relax as you cruise through Narragansett Bay. Dinner includes 1 ¼ lb lobster, mussels, corn on the cob, roasted potatoes or your choice of BBQ chicken.

Every Wednesday July-September

Dinner: 5-6:30pm | Sail: 6:30-8pm

*Dinner and sail times switch in September

Wine & Cheese Sail

Back by popular demand! Perfect for “date night” or a fun evening out with friends or family. Every Monday evening we set sail from Goat Island for a relaxing Wine & Cheese Sail. Bring your favorite bottle of wine and board the Aurora to celebrate summer with a sail around the Bay. Enjoy gourmet cheeses, crackers, and fruit on board.

July 4th Fireworks Sail

We’ll let you in on a little secret: the best place to see the Newport fireworks is under the open sky of Narragansett Bay from a seat on the Aurora. This 1 1/2 hour sail sets off from Goat Island. Enjoy an unforgettable sunset sail through Newport Harbor followed by an incredible fireworks display on the water. Reservations are required as this sail will sell out fast!
